Welcome to Vertix
Vertix was started in 2017 with the vision to create a technology consultancy, offering the highest quality software development, technology management, and technical services available. We are a small team, and proudly so, taking care that everything we deliver is produced to the highest standard and built to last.
At Vertix we love what we do, and we love to find the best solution to the challenges that our clients face, whether it’s a new deployment, migrating to a new platform, or debugging issues with existing technology.
We believe in developing a broad set of skills, knowledge and tools so that we can select the best option for the task in hand; avoiding shoehorning your problems into our solutions and making sure we’re there to support our clients to meet their long-term goals.

Adam O’Neil
Adam is an Information Technology expert with over 20 years field experience in a diverse set of IT roles. His experience has crossed many aspects of IT in this time: systems development, architecture, policy, security, infrastructure and numerous others. Adam has experience coding in many languages, and has a broad technical skill base working with Windows and Linux servers.
Adam has specific expert experience with SonicWall and Ubiquiti equipment, Teradici thin clients, IPSEC VPNs (StrongSwan) and general network infrastructure, having delivered numerous configurations for clients during his time at Vertix.
In his previous roles as Enterprise Systems Architect and Head of Development, he designed and deployed global line of business solutions for major investment banks and industry regulators. His technical experience and attention to detail have been rigorously applied to the field of information security. Adam is experienced with AWS and Azure environments, and has been responsible for securing numerous enterprise deployments.
Adam holds a BSc degree in Computer Systems Engineering, and majored in cryptography. He is also a Microsoft Certified Professional in SQL Server, and ITIL v3 qualified.
Ross Huelin
Ross is a technology professional with IT experience spanning more than 20 years. He has architected, written, deployed and managed complex, multifaceted systems across many technologies, platforms, environments and frameworks. He has applied his scientific and mathematical background to the field of technology, bringing a systematic and rigorous approach to the challenges of modern development and security.
He has previously held roles as Investment and Technology Development Manager, and Senior Trading Systems Specialist for a major systematic trading investment advisor, with responsibility for all aspects of their platform, security posture, development team and IT policy. With a focus on security in cloud environments he has worked on many solutions within AWS, Azure and the Google Cloud Platform. He has delivered robust results which efficiently use the resources and technologies available, while maintaining best practice and sector leading continuity and recovery strategies.
Ross has extensive experience developing in many different languages, with a specific focus on enterprise Windows environments, Linux deployments and database technologies. Ross holds a Master’s degree in Physics, where he majored in computational modelling and advanced mathematical techniques.
